International Business Center FDC Model on International Value Creation |
The FDC Model on International Value Creation was designed by Fundação Dom Cabral International Business Center based on knowledge generated from studies and executive education programs with Brazilian multinationals. The Model offers a platform for companies to plan and assess international strategies and management practices, and its premise is that international expansion should create and maximize value for corporations.
International value is expected to be created from five interconnected dimensions that are the basis of the FDC Model, namely: Value Proposition, Business Model, Organizational Model, Talent and Leadership, and Stakeholders Management, as it is illustrated in the figure bellow. Each of these dimensions encompasses specific themes that provide companies with a guide to effective decision-making, taking into account that the results and benefits of internationalization should not be considered from an economic or financial point of view only. |
